Payments & retries
Generation is paid up front in SOL. This page covers how that works and what happens when it doesn't.
Paying
1. You ask for a track. We quote the price — $1.40 — and create a payment request tied to that specific track.
2. Your wallet asks you to approve a transfer to the platform treasury. Nothing has been charged until you approve it.
3. The payment is verified on-chain. We check the transaction actually landed and matches the request before anything is made.
4. Generation starts. A few minutes later you have a track.
The quoted price is held for 10 minutes. If you don't pay within that window the request expires and you start again at whatever the price is then.
If generation fails
If the vendor takes your job and fails to produce audio, you get a free retry — not a refund. The credit is attached to that track and can be used once. You'll see a retry option on the failed track rather than having to ask for it.
A payment that never resulted in a started generation is not lost. Verification is idempotent and tied to the transaction signature, so re-submitting the same payment resolves to the same track rather than charging twice.
If you paid and the page closed
Reopen the site and go back to create. A payment that was confirmed on-chain but never picked up is recovered automatically, and the generation starts from where it stopped.
If the track still isn't there after a few minutes, you have the transaction signature in your wallet history. That signature is the proof of what happened, and it's the first thing to include if you need to raise it with us.
What we cannot do
We cannot reverse a Solana transaction. Once a payment is confirmed on-chain it is final — that is a property of the network, not a policy choice. The free-retry credit exists precisely because refunding is not something anyone on this platform, including us, is able to do.
