What is Bangerboard
You describe a track. AI makes it. It launches as a token that anyone can trade, and if enough people buy it and actually listen to it, it bonds — its liquidity moves to a decentralised exchange and it trades on the open market from then on.
That's the whole thing.
The five steps
1. Generate. Describe what you want in Banger Lab — genre, mood, tempo, instruments — or just type a sentence. Costs $1.40. You hear it before anyone else does.
2. Launch. Pick a name and a ticker and sign one transaction. A token is created with 1,000,000,000 supply, and 800,000,000 of it goes straight onto a bonding curve. Launching is optional — you can keep a track to yourself.
3. People trade and listen. The curve prices every buy and sell. The price goes up as people buy and down as they sell. Meanwhile plays accumulate, and the ones that meet the rules count as qualified listens.
4. Bonding. Clear all three thresholds and the track graduates. See Bonding.
5. Open market. Liquidity moves to a DEX pool, the LP is burned, and the curve closes for good. Trading carries on without us.
What "fair launch" actually means here
These are enforced by the program, not by our good intentions — you can check them on-chain for any track:
- Fixed supply. 1,000,000,000 tokens, minted once. The mint authority is destroyed in the same transaction, so no more can ever exist.
- No presale. Nobody buys before the curve opens.
- No team allocation. Not one token is set aside for us.
- Full float. 800,000,000 is on the curve from the first second. The remaining 200,000,000 is held back to seed the DEX pool at bonding, and cannot be sold before then.
If you launch a track and buy some yourself, you pay the same price as the next person. There is no cheaper allocation for creators.
None of that makes a track a good buy. Fair launch means the rules are the same for everyone — not that the price goes up. Most tracks go to zero.
What it is not
It is not a music streaming service, and buying a track token does not buy you the song, a share of anything, or a claim on any revenue. See Risks.
